Breakfast With Santa
We went to breakfast with Santa. Megan is completely in love with Santa Claus. She ate her breakfast quickly so that she could go and sit on his lap. He was so good. She sat on his lap and talked about everything she could think of. She told him about school and her family and her house and that we were going to Grandma's house for Christmas and what she would like for Christmas and what Amy wanted and that she missed her cousins in Idaho and Utah and that she wished Anna could be here too and on and on and on. And Santa listened. He just listened and laughed and it was me that told her after a long time that she needed to let Santa go and rest so that he had enough energy for Christmas Eve.

Okay.... It has been a while
I have not had much time to do anything and honestly this blog has not crossed my mind many times but after many questions about our existance, I decided to write a little note.
When we moved I had strep throat and went to the student health center and he did not think it was very bad so he sent me on with an antibiotic. Two days later, in Washington I thought I was going to die- so my loving husband took me to the ER. They gave my an IV and some other stuff and I started feeling better after a couple days.
Other fun things that happened:
My brother's car broke down forcing him and my sister into the already over full moving truck (probably the only Budget truck towing a uhaul trailer ever). This caused them to leave some things at a rest area to make room. There were three people in a two person truck all the way across Oregon and into Washington. Sorry guys.
My two favorite lamps got stuck in the trailer door and were trashed. :(
My bag of Flour exploded and some other things broke.
But everyone is okay. Sam has found work. The ward here is wonderful. We like our house. I love teaching. We are making lots of new friends.
We really miss everyone in Rexburg. We miss the friendships we had to leave and the atmosphere of the city and the school.
We are coming back to visit in December for Brynne's graduation.
I will try to write again soon.

Gettin' her THREE on!

Behind bars...It must have been a bad day. Doing a quick inventory of Grandpa's trunk.... really hoping she could go home with them to Washington.
Posing in her new swim suit. So cute!

Climbing trees with Anna. Look Grampa... I can do it by myself.
...just like your rules.

My Cowgirl Princess
Being a baskethead with Grandma at the Puyallup Fair. What a fun day!

At the zoo by Grandma and Grandpa Bruce's house
Ready for the Rexburg cold.
My angel, the snow angel.
So excited to be at Jungle Playland... She could not stand still. Her cousins are not sure about her energy.
At the Park with Michael. She loves the swings.
Megan and Brynne's "mikers". Listening to Brynne's IPOD.
A birthday hat to match Amy's

At bear world. She calls him "Azul".
This has been such a fun year. Megan lights up my life everyday. She teaches me things that are more valuable than anything I could ever learn at school. She loves her family, friends, Princess things, horses and cowgirls, Preschool and being a "big girl." I love her sense of humor and her desire to always want to know more. I love that she always reminds me to buckle her up in the car, say prayer before bed and kiss me before nap, bedtime and anytime we part. She is my little angel without wings. She is heaven sent and I thank Heavenly Father each day for her and what she brings to our family. I am a better person because of her. Happy birthday Megan.

Princess Party!!!
I did forget their lunches so at lunch time she quietly sipped her juice and waited for Brynne to bring her lunch. She was absolutely in Heaven. She was quite irritated when she realized that she needed to go potty and had to leave the Party, but she did not want to ruin her dress.
The REAL Princess’ as she called them sang songs, handed out stickers and read stories.
What a wonderful party, thank you to all those that made it possible.
Amy watching the Princess sing.
Amy searching for Megan, "where go Maydan"
Amanda, Gracie and Megan having a "ball"
Princess Party at snack time
Princess Megan dancing
Storytime: Amy is in the middle and Megan is hidden behind the wings
The friends loving every minute of the party.
We miss you Amanda... just left for the semester.
Megan taking it all in at lunch timeBear World!
We went to bear world too. At the end of the day Megan said "this is the best day Mom."
The season opened Saturday and so they were letting Mothers in free. I had a coupon for a $1 off and 2 and under are free. So what a deal. We also got to feed the bears. They were having a great deal on that too. It was an unforgettable experience. We got to be very close to wild animals. And Megan got to feed the bears. We took lots of pictures and even a couple of video clips. I will try to put them on here later... Sam needs the computer.

In the petting zoo they had chickens, deer, goats, a pig, some wild birds, peacocks, geese and did I mention deer.
The rides were free with admission. Megan loved it.
This is one of the deer. Amy especially loved the deer.
Another ride with Dad.
This is Stormy, the Alpha wolf.
Amy and Megan both got to feed the deer. Amy really loved it. Megan wasn't sure she wanted the deer to lick her. When Sam first got the food out of the dispenser and held his hand out for Megan to take it, she must have thought it was for her. She took a piece and ate it. Well, she chewed it and spit it out.
Here we are again. Petting another deer. A really fun day. This was a great Mother's day present. I have an awesome family and I am really glad that we got to spend the day together. And really glad that Brynne was able to come with us. We love her. She is an awesome aunt and the best sister ever.
