At the high school there is a preschool where many of Megan's friends and cousin Emma go to school. She begs and pleads to go with them. The teacher asked if a few parents could bring in 3 years old and younger children in so that the class could observe and as the parents questions about development and behavior. So of course we agreed. Megan was so excited that she could hardly sleep the night before. She saw a picture of Brynne on the front steps on the first day of school. I told her about it and about how when I was growing up Grandma always took my picture on the front steps before school. She said, "I want to do it too." So before going to the high school, Sam took her picture.

how sweet! What a fun thing for her to remember! It's funny how the way we look at school changes, isn't it? Matt and I are counting the months until graduation! I love that about kids, they are so genuinely excited to experience everything for a first time.
